What Data We Collect
When you visit our website or use our services, we may collect the following information:
- Email address — collected when you sign up for prelaunch notifications via the signup form.
- IP address and user agent — collected automatically through CloudFront access logs when you visit our website.
- Approximate geolocation — your country, region, and city are inferred from your IP address at the time of signup submission and stored alongside your email address.
- Button click interactions — we track which buttons and navigation elements you interact with on our website for analytics purposes. No personally identifiable information is associated with click events.
How Data Is Stored
All data is stored securely within Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure located in the United States. Specifically:
- Email addresses collected via the prelaunch signup are stored encrypted in AWS infrastructure within the United States.
- CloudFront access logs are stored in encrypted S3 buckets with server-side encryption.
- Click tracking data is stored in DynamoDB with AWS-managed encryption at rest.
How Data Is Used
We use the data we collect for the following purposes:
- Email addresses — solely to notify you when AnchorHome launches. We will not send marketing emails beyond the launch notification.
- Access logs and click data — to understand website traffic patterns, measure engagement with different sections of the site, and improve the user experience.
- Geolocation data — to understand the geographic distribution of interest in AnchorHome.
Data Retention Periods
- CloudFront access logs (IP addresses, user agents) are retained for 90 days, after which they are automatically deleted.
- Button click tracking data is retained for 90 days, after which it is automatically deleted.
- Email addresses and geolocation data are retained until the product launches and the notification is sent, or until you request deletion.
Third-Party Sharing
We do not share your data with third parties. All data processing occurs within our own AWS infrastructure, and no personal information is sold, rented, or disclosed to external organizations.

- Access your data — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
